Has anyone been able to improve their sensorineural hearing loss naturally? I want to hear better without(and with) hearing aids, especially in the high frequencies. What kinds of herbs or medicines can do this? Also what kind of hearing exercises should I do?
I am almost 95 years old. Back in 1983, I was in a car accident and lost most of my hearing. I can only hear 4% in one ear and 15% in the other. I have been through many hearing aids and none have really helped me. I live with my daughter and she says that I am just dreaming and nothing will restore my hearing.
I really wish I would find a good brand? Is it possible that maybe a good brand does exist?
I am hard of hearing and I wear hearing aids however in class last semester, I still had a very hard time hearing. The office of disability support on my campus offered a FM listening device. Will that work better? If so, what is the purpose of spending thousands of dollars on hearing aids (besides convenience) when you can get a listening device for so cheap? I have made appointments to get my hearing evaluated and my hearing aids checked.
I’m currently attending school full-time and working a full-time job at Walt Disney World for 7 dollars an hour. Between the tuition for school, and my other bills, and rent, I am having trouble saving enough money for new hearing aids I’m starting to need.
Since hearing aids are not covered by insurance and the prices of them are sky-high, I’m afraid I will not have enough money saved to buy new hearing aids by the time I need them.
I hate to ask for charity but I’m starting to be backed into a corner. Any suggestion about what I could do?

I have a hearing loss, and its is getting worse. I have tinnitus and want to know if you have this and what hearing aids worked for you. What can I expect to pay for them and where are they available? At this point I am doing research and saving pennies. Is there any organizations that will help working people hear?
